The Experience
The award winning Napa Valley Balloons, Inc. has been flying hot air balloons over the Napa Valley for over 28 years. We have FAA certified pilots and aircraft, a professional staff and an impeccable safety record with thousands of satisfied adventurers experiencing the pleasure of hot air ballooning with Napa Valley Balloons, Inc.
Pre-Flight
We welcome you at our pre-dawn Check-In with a Continental Breakfast of Coffee, pastries, cereal, fruit and juice. After a brief pilot orientation you are taken to our launch site.
Upon arrival at our launch site you are greeted by a bustle of activity, the hum of the inflator fans, the lively colors of our state-of-the-art balloons and the roar of the burners. Our well trained and skilled staff ensures a safe and comfortable launch.
Lift off!
Burners roar and then silence. Gently, the balloon lifts into the early morning breeze that ushers you above corridors of grapes and between the mountains of one of the most magnificent valleys on Earth. As you drift along there is no movement of air, for you have become the wind. 
Aloft and floating on a sea of tranquility, you will experience the spirit of flight.
Above it all, your experienced and knowledgeable pilot and host will welcome questions and serve as your guide for points of local interest and the Valley’s extraordinary beauty.
Enchantment, romance, and excitement fill every colorful moment of this graceful adventure… Your flight is a momentous occasion to celebrate with special friends.
The basket is a sculpture of wicker and leather, and the iridescent colors of the balloon punctuate the horizon like an exclamation point! Our balloons range in size but our largest can comfortably accommodate up to 16 guests.
As you gently descend into a meadow of mustard and wild flowers your first impulse is to say, “Let’s go again!”.
The experience will last an hour but the memories will last a lifetime!
When earthbound, your first flight is celebrated with Napa Valley’s finest sparkling wines at our delicious Champagne Breakfast. Best stories are told and lifelong friendships are sealed.
